Bear Foot Sports invites you to join us at the 12th Annual Publix Hilton Head Island Half Marathon 10K / 5K on Saturday, February 8th at 8:00am from Jarvis Creek Park on Beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC. The Publix Hilton Head Island Half Marathon features a scenic certified course that takes participants thru two parks and over the Broad Creek. The course is fast and flat with a slight incline at the bridge over the Broad Creek, which is about a one mile span and is done twice ( out & back ).
The Publix Hilton Head Half Marathon features all standard male and female divisions including, men's clydesdale and women's filly divisions, as well as master and grand master. Gift cards and unique awards will be presented to the top three overall male, male master's, female and female master¹s finishers. Additionally, the top three in each age category will also receive unique awards. Custom HH Half Marathon Finishers Medals will be presented to the first 800 Half Marathon finishers.
POST RACE PARTY
Featuring: Craft Beer Garden, Refreshments, Live Music, Food, Door
Prizes,
Children's Fun Run and each event Award Ceremony will be held following each race.

This year's Hilton Head Island Half
Marathon & 10K will benefit three local charities. In 11 years the event has donated
over $31,000 to area charities, and in 2014 we look forward to increasing our
total.
LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS
Those who pre-register for the Half Marathon will receive a colorful long sleeve performance t-shirt.
10K & 5K participants will receive a long sleeve cotton t-shirt.

Half Marathon

* Each mile will be clearly marked
with split times provided
* Water/Sports Drinks will be available about
every 2 mile.
* First aid stations will be available at start/finish
area,10K turn & 1/2 turn.
Start at Jarvis Creek Park and
take participants down Natures Way and Pembroke Rd and back. At the corner of
Pembroke Rd & Natures Way the course will turn left back towards Jarvis
Creek Park It will then enter the bike run thru Jarvis Creek Park to enter
Cross Island Parkway behind the park thru back gate.
Once on the Cross
Island Pkwy participants will head towards Palmetto Bay Rd and exit Cross
Island Pkwy prior to plaza on the Marshland Rd Entrance Ramp, cross Marshland
Road and head on Rd until bike path and back onto Cross Island Pkwy, avoiding
toll plaza towards Bay Pines Rd.
At the corner of Palmetto Bay Rd and
Bay Pines the course will turn left towards Crossings Park and enter Powerline
Rd on left just past Crossings Park which runs parallel to Arrow Rd. At the end
of Powerline Rd the course will turn left onto Arrow Rd heading towards
Dunagans Alley.
At Dunagans Alley the course will turn around and
return on the same route via Arrow Rd, Powerline Rd and Cross Island Pkwy
around toll plaza via bike path and back up Marshland Rd Entrance Ramp on Cross
Island Pkwy thru a gate at the back side of Jarvis Creek Park to finish line ( which will be pushed back to allow more space at this year's finish )
